The chamber has proven to be one of Price's most productive test areas, playing a vital part in the development of 12 product lines, as well as generating the entirety of Price's thermal catalog data for chilled beams and radiant panels.

The efficiency and instrumentation of the Hydronic Test Chamber allow us to collaborate with research centers in North America and Europe. Price is actively involved in advancing the state of radiant and chilled beam systems through leadership and membership in organizations like the Center for the Built Environment.

FLOW VISUALIZATION ROOM

The Flow Visualization Room allows you to experience a range of Price products, from our wide selection of overhead grilles, registers, and diffusers (GRDs) to our most innovative displacement and underfloor air distribution technologies.

FLOW VISUALIZATION ROOM

This room demonstrates the dynamic effect that a diffuser has on the occupants of a space. In this controlled environment, heated mannequins simulate human bodies. Heat loads from other objects such as computers can also be examined. A sensor tree utilizes velocity and temperature probes to capture and display the results on plasma screens in real time. All of these tools make this room an invaluable resource for the planning and designing of a ventilation system.

HYDRONICS DISPLAY

The Hydronics Display, at the Price Technical Center, features many of the beam and radiant panel products offered by Price. The cross sections of the beams enable visitors to visualize the operation of the beam, as well as touch and feel the product itself. The side-displays feature our radiant products, highlighting the many configurations and finishes available.
