With the same basic components as a standard single duct terminal, the SDE single duct exhaust terminal unit is configured to control exhaust air with minimal pressure drop and low noise levels. The airflow direction is reversed, and the terminal unit is supplied with an inlet attenuator to help lower sound levels radiating back into the occupied space.
Typical Applications
The SDE single duct exhaust terminal unit is typically used in spaces that require either exhaust air volume control or space pressurization control. This terminal is ideally suited for healthcare or laboratory exhaust applications where indoor air quality is a concern.
