Price Cage Rack Exhaust Venturi Valves (VV) are used to provide precise ventilation needed in cage racks to ensure a safe comfortable environment for the animals.  These valves are typically fixed flow constant volume devices that can provide both supply and exhaust airflow depending on the configuration of the cage rack.  The constant airflows are provided to the Laboratory Space Controller (LSC) to offset the additional supply air that is needed in the space for cooling or to meet the ventilation requirements. 

Price Venturi Valves (VV) are mechanically pressure independent control valves designed specifically for precision airflow applications with flow ranges as low as 35 CFM (16.5 l/s).  The highly engineered internal cone assembly ensures the valve will respond to changes in duct static pressure in less than one second, while turndown ratios in excess of 16:1 serve to maximize energy savings in unoccupied or minimum flow set-points.
