Overview

The FHC is designed to control face velocity on variable volume fume hoods with audible and visual indicating alarms. The Fume Hood Controller can ensure a safe working environment by constantly monitoring and adjusting the exhaust to maintain a correct face velocity. The controller supports multiple air control devices including venturi valves, LDV exhaust valves, and variable frequency drives.

The controller comes standard with the both sidewall and sash position sensor inputs and both can be used together.

The FHC is valve mounted and includes an analog input for monitoring the static pressure across the valve, alarming if minimum static pressures are met and can be used during test and balance to set up the system.

The FHC integrates with the Price Laboratory space controller when airflow control calls for maintaining a volumetric offset between supply, general exhaust and fume hood exhaust flows.

The FHC comes standard as a BTL – certified native BACnet device for simple integration with building management systems.
