Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Price Industries Inc. is on the search for a Production Supervisor 2nd Shift, for its growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Casa Grande, AZ. This position will report to the Production Manager, will manage the production activities within their department, and will be responsible for overall performance of the manufacturing department including Production Schedule, Delivery performance, Resource planning, allocation and utilization, Quality and Safety Improvement.


  • Improving the Efficiency and Utilization of the Production Department.
  • Quality of the products built and effective resolution of quality issues.
  • Identifying problem root cause and implementing corrective and preventive measures to ensure no repetition.
  • Utilize functional support departments to resolve quality issues.
  • Identify and resolve Safety concerns.
  • Ensuring work instructions, procedures and policies are being followed.
  • Motivating department members through involvement, communication and positive reinforcement.
  • Provide employees with feedback through formal and informal Performance Evaluations.
  • Monitor attendance and take disciplinary steps as required up to the termination.
  • Dealing with grievance and conflict in a clam, controlled and professional manner.
  • Manpower planning and effective staffing, which includes operators, lead-hands and master crafters.
  • Ensuring effective training and cross training.
  • Mentoring and developing lead-hands so they can manage the hour by hour manufacturing operations.
  • Driving continuous improvement within departments to achieve better quality, efficient productivity and delivery performance.
  • Driving force behind 5S.
  • Use Lean Manufacturing and other techniques.
  • Ensure daily shop clean up actions are performed effectively and required daily machine preventive maintenance actions are carried out as required.

Education/Relevant Experience/ Skills:

  • College Degree or High School with 5 years of experience.
  • 2 – 3 years of supervision role with a proven track record in a high volume, multi-product environment – Preferably in sheet metal and HVAC.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
  • Comfortable in a team oriented environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.

Design Drafter - Global Projects
Winnipeg, MB

You are an outgoing professional eager to apply your skills in the real world, curious about business processes and passionate about getting the job done right in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for an individual who is technically inclined, energetic, productive, and can handle multiple priorities in a timely fashion with a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop detailed designs for Global Projects products using CAD software.
  • Resolve and consult with others to correct design problems between manufacturing and engineering.
  • Draft technical details including bill of materials, as well as position instructions and comments onto drawings.
  • Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, customer service and sales on projects as needed.

The ideal candidate for the position will have:

  • Graduated from a Mechanical Engineering Technology or Drafting program.
  • An understanding of manufacturing principles.
  • Familiarity with reading manufacturing drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Proficiency in Solid Edge, SolidWorks and/ or AutoCAD.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing or HVAC industry is considered an asset.
