The Price Active Chilled Beam Recessed (ACBR) is versatile in its application to allow for either a horizontal or vertical discharge configuration. 

When used in a horizontal application, the active chilled beam has a low profile and is an ideal product for spaces with low ceiling height, curtain wall construction, or bulkheads, making it a great alternative to fan coils. Ideal applications include perimeters, office spaces, dormitories, and hotel rooms.

When used in a vertical application, the narrow profile of the active chilled beam makes the unit ideal for installations in narrow, tight spaces along perimeters. With many old buildings being updated to meet today’s high building standards, the vertical configuration works well in retrofitting old induction and fan coil units without disturbing the original space and 
increases the energy efficiency of the system.
